Frankie was born and raised in Yorkshire, England and graduated from Sheffield University with a Masters of Science degree in Psychology and Physiology. She has been in the United States for over 28 years and has worked in the health and fitness field for the last 25 years. For over 10 years she lived and worked in New York City training the rich and famous, and taught classes at the top NYC health clubs and spas. During her time in New York Frankie ran her own, extremely successful, Personal Training, Yoga and Pilates business where she provided fitness services to corporations such as Pfizer, The Princeton University Club, New York Stock Exchange, The Harvard University Club and Morgan Stanley. She also offered weekend Yoga and Pilates teacher training workshops for aerobics instructors, until she got married and moved to Wellington, FL where she operated a successful one-on-one Pilates business. Frankie maintained a full teaching schedule of fitness classes at local health clubs and discovered a need for qualified Pilates teachers. and do the Pilates Institute of America was born. Frankie started The Pilates Institute of America (PIA) in 1999 to specialize in offering the best in Pilates teacher training and certification. over the following 10 years Frankie and PIA certified over 3500 instructors worldwide. Following a divorce and a move to Idaho, Frankie is continuing her teacher training programs through her new company the Pilates Training Camp which she founded in 2013. She currently owns, operates and teaches all the classes at Pilates with Frankie Studio in Driggs, Idaho where she is also raising her three children.
